Responsibilities and Duties

  • Assess the strengths and opportunities of the sales team and coach accordingly.
  • Provide support for sales representatives as they generate leads and close new deals.
  • Develop and implement new sales initiatives, strategies and programs to help drive business.
  • Increase the overall productivity of the branch by implementing employee training, eliminating inefficiencies and capturing growth opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with company and industry policies and procedures.
  • Manage daily operations and make improvements as needed.
  • Interview prospective clients to get information about their needs and discuss coverage.
  • Explain the features and benefits of various policies.
  • Analyze clients’ current insurance policies and suggest additions or changes.
  • Make outbound calls using company generated lead sources. (NO COLD CALLS)
  • Customize insurance programs to suit individual clients.
  • Do administrative tasks, such as keeping records and handling policy renewals
  • Help existing clients with questions, payments, and other customer service needs.

Job Requirements



Qualifications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Pleasant and professional telephone demeanor.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects at once.
  • At least two years of experience in management, finance, sales or a relevant business role.
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Familiarity with: customer management systems, point of sale systems, and Microsoft Office
  • Property and Casualty or Personal Lines license preferred.
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
