Position Summary: The District Manager of Sales will lead the analysis, execution, and acceleration of profitable revenue generation within the Dallas/Fort Worth metropolitan area to realize the potential of new and existing revenue streams and achieve optimal sales effectiveness. This person will set clear and tangible goals; as well as attract, develop, coach, and retain key players of the sales organization. Leading the training and development of their sales team will be an important responsibility expected of this leader to prepare future leaders. In this role, agility, flexibility, and responsiveness to change are critical in creating a competitive advantage for the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coach, train, and develop Branch Managers & Producers in all aspects of sales in a multi-location, retail environment
  • Lead recruiting efforts within the region
  • Set short-term and long-range strategic revenue goals in accordance with the directive of the Vice President of Sales
  • Lead the analysis, execution, and acceleration of profitable revenue growth
  • Maintain effective communication with Branch Managers & sales team to execute on a unified sales strategy
  • Create a positive atmosphere across the district and increase employee engagement and morale
  • Ensure adherence to company procedures, policies, & guidelines
  • Measure and analyze productivity of employees within the district
  • Maintain payroll costs & other expenses within company limits & goals
  • Hold Branch Managers accountable for executing set plan of action
  • Teach company policy, procedure, and culture to all employees within the district
  • Must have adequate knowledge to teach sales concepts and processes to the sales team

Job Requirements

Ideal Experience & Competencies

  • Experience in Sales, Business Development, and/or Management level position
  • Proven sales leader with multi-unit experience managing sales teams in a gritty, hands-on environment
  • Business acumen: Solid working knowledge of strategic planning, goal-setting, sales, and business development
  • Ability to earn the respect and trust of employees
  • Ability to connect with employees at all levels within the district and create a drive to work towards a common goal
  • Travel: Willing and able to travel throughout the DFW metroplex
  • Ability to work varying days and hours, based on business needs
  • Education: Associate’s degree preferred, but not required
  • Language: Bilingual in Spanish preferred, but not required
